Role and Responsibilities

Formulation Development
- Collaborate with the research and development team to design and optimize formulations.
- Conduct literature reviews and stay abreast of advancements in rheology and tribology relevant to applications.

Rheological Analysis
- Perform rheological tests on formulations to analyze their flow behavior, viscosity, and elasticity.
- Interpret and document rheological data to guide formulation adjustments and improvements.

Tribological Studies
- Investigate the friction and wear properties of fin formulations through tribological experiments.
- Evaluate the impact of different additives and components on the tribological performance of the formulations.

Application Development
- Contribute to the development of applications for formulations, ensuring compatibility with diverse systems and environments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand real-world application challenges and refine formulations accordingly.

Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze and summarize experimental data, prepare reports for internal use and potential publication.
- Communicate findings clearly to cross-functional teams and present results in periodic meetings.

Collaboration
- Work closely with scientists, engineers, and other interns to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute ideas to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

- Currently pursuing a Master in Polymer/Material Science & Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of rheology and tribology principles.
- Experience with laboratory techniques and instrumentation for rheological and tribological analysis.
- Knowledge of formulation development and application testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter, organised and proactive.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
